The attempt of Senegalese farmers to outwit one of the greatest mass murderers of our time with only a few drops of water. Silently, insidiously and always with full force: The overpowering villain, which the Senegalese have to oppose year after year carries the name 'drought'. Drought can not be prevented or calculated and certainly not outwitted. Or can it? A farmer, an artist, a gardener, and a priest from Senegal have one thing in common: mastering everyday life with the lack of water in one of the driest regions on earth. The race for the best survival strategy in times of the climate change has already begun. Who will succeed and what does it depend on? Is a garden in Ndondol the much longed for key to a solution?
