Dead End is a Road Movie if anything. Paul and Dixie are driving away. He is a henchman and she is a club singer, and the girlfriend of his boss. They know each other very well, don't talk much, but both of them know what's at the end of the journey. A sensitive portrait of those two disillusioned characters in an atmosphere typical of this kind of movie.
