The Man Upstairs

A series of tragedies, mishaps and rebirths told through a radically personal and simplified animation style. Juxtaposed with live action of a man that lives in increasing anxiety and loathing regarding his annoying upstairs neighbor. This neighbor seems to purposefully afflict the downstairs man with one disturbance after another. Eventually the man downstairs is literally incapable of moving. At the same time he has the opportunity to face his torment. What is the nature of our anxiety? Where does it come from and how much reality is container within that anxiety. Those are the questions that 'The Man Upstairs' asks.
