Housewife is a 20 minute documentary looking at the lives and careers of a few of the top female DJ's in the underground dance music scene featuring interviews with Lisa Loud, Lottie, Laura Jones, Francesca Lombardo, Ceri, Dave Beer and Femmes Fatales as well as exclusive live performance and behind the scenes footage.The film explores some of the pressures that female artists have to face in order to survive in a male dominated industry and through its feminist approach reflects on how women's roles have changed in our modern day society since the days of the traditional housewife.
