Today Abbie is going to steal back her child Ruby. Problem is, she doesn't know what Ruby looks like. Both mother and child were separated five years ago. Will they still know each other? Abbie thinks so. This short film is a culmination of real life stories from women about their situations; their thoughts and feelings around forced adoption, in both the past and present. The film also raises questions about modern day adoption. Above all, it delves deep into the bond between mother and child and what happens when it is broken.
