Chuck is just like every other teenage boy: struggling to find his place, unable to talk to girls, and forced to escape into his own fantasy world. He's been in love with Melissa Mercer, the most popular girl in school, for as long as he can remember. One day he goes over to Melissa's house, finally working up the courage to profess his undying love for her, when he sees Melissa's sister, Mary Mercer, attempting to commit suicide. After saving her, Chuck convinces Mary to give him one week to change her life. He soon finds that saving someone else can be difficult when you can barely take care of yourself. Will a week be enough time to save Mary?
