Mariah

In a village scarred by the Mexican cartel battles, Mariah, a young woman works to promote non-violence. She herself though is haunted by her broken marriage to the town's mayor- a corrupt chauvinist. When she meets Colin a young freelance journalist and begins a love affair with him, a desire for vengeance grows inside of her almost like a demon newly awakened. Now at odds with the noble ideals of her work, she begins on a war path towards what she hopes is justice, but what truly no good can come from.
