In 1951 a small Northern European Nation established a television directorate. Its charter was to provide the people with the finest quality programming that would both entertain and inform. The legislation included a provision to levy a small annual permit fee to all operators of television receivers. Today it is up to a small group of dedicated professionals to ensure everyone pays their fair share. They are the T.V. Permit Inspectors and this is their story.
