After the Infection

What remains of humanity has finally found a foothold several years after the infection that led to the zombie apocalypse. Just as the tide of war turns in favor of the uninfected, however, the slow and shambling zombies begin to evolve into something more dangerous. The "Z Virus" hasn't stopped at simply reanimating the dead, but is actually regenerating its victims' sinews and synapses, creating a clever and seemingly immortal enemy fully capable of taking up arms and fighting back.
