Vanessa is a teenage girl who seems to be a pretty dumb blonde who cares only of looks and popularity. She is tricked into going on a camping trip by her younger sister, as an assistant leader, for the local Wilderness Rangers group. Through all the mishaps of camping, she connects with the children and with herself, allowing her to discover who she really is.
