Anchor Baby is a family comedy that centers on Tommy Chu's dysfunctional relationship with his father Victor and mother Ruth and his quest for a normal life in the chaotic world of the Asian-American assimilation and immigration experience in the setting of a quirky and volatile family-owned Chinese restaurant.
