A young artist visits the deep South on a business trip and becomes infatuated with a beautiful southern belle. After two years off the grid, his older brother - a NY Times best selling author and journalist - tracks him down to figure out what truly happened to him. As the interview progresses the layers peel back and the deeper they dig the deeper down the rabbit hole they venture. The two begin to discover that once you uncover the sins of the past it can dictate the future and what once seemed like a fairy tale becomes a grim nightmare.
