A young boy's dream of becoming a firefighter and his passion for self discovery, puts him on a collision course with a famous artifact of history and a NYFD hero, escaping his own demons. The NYFD fireman and his wife move back to a small NC town, her birthplace, to erase/escape their own demons and they meet JD and their lives will never be the same again. As they take this journey together, they discover that there is an event that links them all together.
