The Sunday Town Music Project is a documentary about the history of Oklahoma Music and its continued influence on the International music scene Oklahoma boasts some of history's most talented and influential musicians. Artists such as Count Basie, Woody Guthrie, Bob Wills, JJ Cale, Leon Russell, Wanda Jackson, Garth Brooks, The Flaming LIps and The Crystal Method all have roots in Oklahoma. This film will explore the culture that nurtured and has been adversarial to this talent.
