Two washed-up detectives form an unlikely partnership. One is an ex-alcoholic woman-charmer and the other is a psychic who believes that Elvis Presley is his guardian angel, guiding him towards a life-long dream about a music career. They regain their status and respect in the force after they solve a ten year old world-famous missing persons case and receive the medal of valor.
