Arthur Winn, a prominent clubman and social favorite, is divorced by his wife. Disgusted with himself and surroundings, he goes out west. His love for Helen, his ex-wife could not be taken from him by the divorce courts, so be lived in hopes that he would some day be able to claim her again. Fate brings the two together in a small mining town in the west, where Arthur rescues his wife from a drunken miner. Her love returns to the man that loved her better than his life.
