This isn't a western. The setting is an African jungle plantation. The source that gave it a Western genre must have assumed that stockades existed only in the American west. Footage from this film (and a 1910 Edison silent, "The Last Deal")was used, in a burlesque fashion, in the first release of the 1947-48 series of "Flicker Flasbacks" comedy shorts from RKO.
